So, I’m still following the GAME twitter account despite the fact that it’s been over a month since I stopped working there and a little while ago they linked to a post they made on their Facebook page about people’s video game crushes — which made me question whether there were any video game characters I’d consider dating if they were real. I really wracked my brains. And I got really frustrated because — “Wow, there are so many great female video game characters but all the male characters suck.”

Then I started laughing hysterically because I remembered that of course the received wisdom is that there are no awesome female video game characters.
